How it works
650 microseconds. That's the difference.
Traditional lasers fire in milliseconds, thousandths of a second. That sounds fast, but it's long enough for heat to spread laterally into surrounding skin tissue. That spread is what causes pain, redness, bruising, and the downtime that keeps people away from laser clinics.
The Aerolase Neo Elite fires in 650 microseconds, 650 millionths of a second. That's faster than your skin can absorb the heat. The pulse is over before heat can travel anywhere. The target is treated. The surrounding skin is not.

Most laser and light-based treatments are only cleared for lighter skin tones. For darker skin, the risk of darker marks and burns from conventional lasers is significant.
The Aerolase Neo Elite's 650-microsecond pulse fires before heat can spread to the melanin in surrounding tissue. This is why it is one of very few laser devices safe for the deepest skin tones, and why it's the right device for Perth's diverse population.

Nail fungus
18 published studies support 1064nm efficacy for nail fungus. Laser penetrates the nail plate and selectively heats fungal tissue, no oral antifungals, no liver monitoring, no drug interactions. Effective for cases where topical treatment has failed.

Laser targets the vascular supply feeding the wart, starving it from within rather than destroying from the surface. Effective for treatment-resistant and plantar warts where cryotherapy has repeatedly failed. Typically 1–3 sessions.

Controlled sub-ablative laser stimulation of melanocytes at the follicular reservoir can initiate re-pigmentation in stable vitiligo patches. Results vary by location and lesion age. Perioral and facial patches respond best.
