Dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that uses a surgical scalpel to exfoliate the skin and remove facial hair, resulting in smoother, brighter, and more youthful-looking skin. It essentially "shaves" off the outermost layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz).
